Because of this, the just-released Bachchan Pandey is facing a lot of loss. However, the makers of Bachchan Pandey did not expect The Kashmir Files to affect the film.

The film Bachchan Pandey has already been delayed because almost all the cinema halls were closed for 1 year due to Covid. After that, when cinemas opened, they opened with 50% capacity, due to which the business of Bollywood was badly affected and the release date of big films was extended. No one thought that the low budget film The Kashmir Files will be the first super hit film of this year. On the other hand, the budget of big budget film Bachchan Pandey is very high because big names are included in the film like Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Kriti, Jacqueline Fernandez, who are Bollywood superstars.

According to Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh, The Kashmir Files has collected 26.20 crores on Sunday, taking the total collection of the film to Rs 167.45 crores after the second weekend. The film has done a business of 70 crores in the second weekend. The Kashmir Files collected Rs 19.15 crore on Friday, Rs 24.80 crore on Saturday, and Rs 26.20 crore on Sunday. And the same Bachchan Pandey has earned better on Sunday than Saturday. The film has collected around 14 to 15 crores. By the end of the first weekend, the total collection of the film has gone up to 40 crores. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Bachchan Pandey had collected Rs 13.25 crore on the first day. At the same time, on Saturday, the film has earned only Rs 12 crore.
