Padmaavat Wednesday Box Office Collection: The film crosses 150 crore
Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor starrer Padmaavat are released on 25th January, and the film received a tremendous response at the box office. The film performed well on Wednesday, too. Padmaavat collected 12.50 Crores on Wednesday at Domestic Box Office. The film stood at 155.50 crores at the Indian Box Office Collection.
The film soon reaches 175 crores at the Box Office. However, joining 200 Crores Club will be a big challenge for the film. On 9th February Akshay Kumar’s Padman and Sidharth Malhotra’s Aiyaary are coming.
Meanwhile, the film is doing extremely well in the overseas market. The film has received a collection of $2 million at the Australian box office so far. Earlier, three Indian films, Dangal (2.6 million dollars), Baahubali 2 Hindi ($2.4 million) and PK ($2.1 million) could do the same.
Padmaavat has been made on a budget of approx 190 crores. The film had to go through a lot of struggles. Even after receiving U/A certificate from the CBFC, it was not released in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Haryana.
