Divya Dutta Calls Out Indigo Airlines: “Extremely Poor Treatment of Passengers”

Actress Divya Dutta, known for her roles in several Bollywood films, recently faced a troubling experience with Indigo Airlines. Divya, who began her acting career at the age of 17 and has worked alongside stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, celebrated her 47th birthday just a day before this unfortunate incident.

On the day following her birthday, Divya  Dutta arrived at Mumbai Airport for an early morning flight, only to encounter a frustrating and unpleasant situation. The actress took to social media to vent her frustration, sharing the difficulties she faced, including the sudden cancellation of her flight without any prior notice. This not only caused her personal distress but also disrupted her work schedule.

Flight Cancelled Without Notice

Divya Dutta shared her ordeal, revealing how the airline abruptly canceled the flight without any communication. She described the experience as harrowing, especially because there was no airline staff available to provide passengers with information. Divya was visibly upset and shared that the poor handling of the situation impacted her professional commitments as well.

The actress posted a video from the airport lobby, showing empty seats and a flickering light, with no staff in sight. In her Instagram post, she wrote:
“Thank you for this horrible experience early in the morning. The flight was canceled without any prior notice. There’s no staff here to assist or provide any information. This is pure harassment, and there isn’t even a single Indigo Airlines employee at the exit gate. This is terrible behavior towards passengers. I am extremely distressed, and my work has been affected.”

After Divya’s post, her fans quickly responded with support, sharing their own negative experiences with the airline. One user commented, “They charged me for a blanket when my son was shivering with fever! What a terrible airline Indigo is.” Another added, “Divya, be careful. I personally avoid flying with Indigo unless I have no other choice. Their services are often lacking, and I’ve never had a good experience with them. Take care.” A third fan suggested, “Post this on Twitter, and they’ll immediately respond and apologize.”
