Elvish Yadav Snake Trafficking Case: Noida Police Apprehends Two More Suspects

In a significant development related to the illegal trafficking of snakes and their venom, Noida Police has apprehended two additional suspects after extensive investigation. Originating from Haryana, Ishwar and Vinay were taken into custody by the Noida Commissionerate Police following thorough interrogation. A police official has verified their arrest, indicating notable progress in the ongoing inquiry.

Following the detainment of YouTuber Elvish Yadav in connection with the case, the police investigation has gained momentum. Additionally, reports have emerged of a confrontation between BJP spokesperson and lawyer Gaurav Bhatia in court.

Elvish Yadav, alongside five other associates, had previously been arrested in connection with the case. According to police sources, chargesheets are expected to be filed promptly. Several other individuals linked to the case may face arrest as the investigation progresses. Notably, the Noida Police may issue notices to various prominent figures for questioning during the inquiry.

Elvish Yadav and his associates are alleged to have engaged in supplying snakes and their venom for events and gatherings where substances are consumed. The Noida Commissionerate Police has commenced interrogations of members within Elvish Yadav’s circle and associates. Ishwar and Vinay, summoned late on Tuesday night, were questioned at the Sector-20 police station until late hours. Reports suggest that Ishwar’s name frequently emerged during the interrogation, with discussions between him and Elvish Yadav being revealed. Videos featuring Elvish Yadav have been utilized as evidence in his arrest, including footage shot at Fajilpuria’s shooting location, where Elvish is depicted interacting with snakes.

Fajilpuria is also under scrutiny by the Noida Police in connection with this case and may be summoned for questioning. Elvish Yadav’s bail plea could not be heard on Tuesday due to lawyers being on strike, with the next hearing scheduled for Wednesday. Speculation suggests that additional charges may be brought against Elvish.

Lawyers, including BJP spokesperson and lawyer Gaurav Bhatia, have been actively pursuing Elvish Yadav’s bail in court. Following their appearance alongside lawyer Gaurav Bhatia for Elvish Yadav’s bail hearing on Wednesday, a confrontation ensued between lawyers and Bhatia.

With the arrest of Ishwar and Vinay, coupled with the ongoing interrogation of Elvish Yadav’s associates, the Noida Police’s investigation into the snake and venom trafficking case is gaining momentum. As legal proceedings progress, more details about the alleged illegal activities and individuals involved are expected to surface.
