Arvind Kejriwal Appears in Rouse Avenue Court for Alleged Liquor Policy Violations

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal finally appeared before the Rouse Avenue Court today in connection with the alleged liquor scam case, following a summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). Kejriwal, who left his residence to attend the court hearing, has been embroiled in controversy after the ED issued eight summons to him regarding the matter.

The Rouse Avenue Court had earlier summoned Arvind Kejriwal to appear on March 16. The ED had filed a new complaint in court, alleging non-compliance with summons numbers 4 to 8 under Section 50 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) by the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
