As per multiple reports, the highly anticipated collaboration between Ali Abbas Zafar and Katrina Kaif in the film “Super Soldier” faced delays primarily due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, both Ali and Katrina had their own commitments that led to further postponement of the project. It was speculated that Katrina would showcase her exceptional action skills, similar to her roles in “Tiger Zinda Hai” and “Phantom.” However, Ali recently disclosed that while the film has been delayed, it has not been shelved. He expressed his assurance that the project will come to fruition, mentioning that it was originally scheduled to commence earlier, but Katrina’s involvement in shooting for “Tiger 3” and the pandemic altered the plans. Ali affirmed, “That film is very much happening, but I’m waiting for the right time to make the film. Currently, I’m also occupied with a few other projects. Once we find the perfect timing and when both of us are available, it will certainly go on the floors.”

Katrina Kaif has a slate of promising projects lined up. Her upcoming film, Tiger 3, is highly anticipated and features renowned actors Salman Khan and Emraan Hashmi in significant roles. There are also reports suggesting that Shah Rukh Khan will make a special appearance as Pathaan in the film. Additionally, she is set to star in Merry Christmas, a movie directed by Sriram Raghavan.
