“I will never quit theatre,” said Mayanka Pereira who is a renowned actress and a theatre artist. Mayanka was in the aviation industry as an air hostess before making her remark in Bollywood by doing spectacular films like Love Bytes and JB Priestley’s ‘An Inspector Calls’ which was directed by Abhyuday Tamhankar. The actress is a public figure with about 116000 followers on Instagram.

Mayanka Pereira Journey

Mayanka originally belongs to Orlim, Goa and began her journey as a model wherein she has begged several pageant awards one of them was Bottlebay Mega Model Hunt and she was also a finalist at Miss Goa Pageant. She has worked in Konkani dramas and has done nearly 100 shows. She also got featured in a couple of web series, short films and music videos, the most notable of them includes T-series’s ‘Hold my Kamariya’ with Punjabi singer Harshit Tomar which rolled out last year. Needless to say that she has got various feathers in her cap as reaching Bollywood is everyone’s dream but only those who dream big reach there.

She also did her share of social work by playing a role of a village girl “Aditi in the film Safaibaaz- The Scavenger’. This film was a tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives to keep society clean and healthy but unfortunately, their sacrifices have gone unsung and un-honoured. Mayanka got a break to share the screen with the legendary Bollywood stars like Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Ravi Kishan and Upasna Sen.

While speaking about her theatre performance she said “ My love for theatre is something else that cannot be put into words and I am never going to quit doing it “.She also mentioned that she has done theatre for a long time which she enjoyed and would continue to do.
