In a shocking incident, a high-end BMW Z4 worth ₹80 lakh was stolen from the parking area of Shilpa Shetty’s upscale restaurant, Bastian – At The Top. The incident has not only left the car owner in shock but has also brought attention to the luxury eatery in Dadar, Mumbai. The police have started investigating the matter, relying on CCTV footage to identify the suspects.

BMW Stolen from Bastian Restaurant’s Parking Lot
The theft occurred on Sunday night at Bastian, located on the 48th floor of Kohinoor Square, Dadar West. The owner of the stolen vehicle, Ruhaan Feroz Khan, a 34-year-old businessman from Bandra, had visited the restaurant with two friends around 1 AM. On arrival, Ruhaan handed over his car keys to the valet staff of the restaurant, expecting to retrieve his car after his meal.
However, things took a surprising turn when Ruhaan later requested his vehicle from the parking staff. To his shock, the sleek convertible BMW Z4 was nowhere to be found. Following the discovery, he immediately approached the Shivaji Park Police Station and lodged a First Information Report (FIR).
Thieves Caught on CCTV Footage
The police investigation began right away, and the CCTV footage from the restaurant and nearby areas confirmed the theft. It showed that unknown individuals drove off with the vehicle around 2 AM. The police have registered a case under Section 303(2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) 2023, which pertains to punishment for theft.
Ruhaan’s lawyer, Ali Kashif Khan, confirmed that law enforcement is examining additional CCTV footage to track down the culprits. The car owner has valued the stolen BMW Z4 at ₹80 lakh, making it a significant loss.
