On the night of November 8, Kangana’s beloved grandmother, Indrani Thakur, passed away at the age of over 100. The veteran actress took to social media to inform her fans about this loss and requested them to pray for her grandmother’s soul to rest in peace.

Kangana, who shared a deep bond with her grandmother, expressed her grief and narrated how Indrani Thakur had been unwell for some time. A few days before her passing, while cleaning her room, she had suffered a brain stroke. This event left her bedridden for several days, making it a difficult time for the family.

Kangana’s emotional tribute on social media touched the hearts of her followers. She revealed that despite being over a century old, her grandmother was independent and inspiring. Indrani Thakur was not an ordinary woman; she raised five children and ensured they received quality education, even with limited resources. Kangana expressed how her grandmother’s determination shaped their family, ensuring that all her children went to esteemed institutions for higher studies.

Highlighting her grandmother’s progressive mindset, Kangana mentioned that Indrani encouraged women to stand on their own feet and even advised her married daughters to pursue careers. This was quite remarkable during an era when such achievements were rare. Kangana noted that her grandmother took pride in her children’s professional accomplishments, with some even securing prestigious government positions.
