Om Raut’s directorial film, Tanhaji, saw a mega opening across 4545 screens all over the world, including 3880 screens in India. Tanhaji is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare. Ajay Devgn plays the role of Tanhaji, who was the military leader of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, founder of the Maratha Empire.
Apart from Ajay Devgn, the other supporting cast of Tanaji includes Saif Ali Khan as Udaybhan Singh Rathod, Sharad Kelkar as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Kajol as Savitribai Malusare and Luke Kenny as Aurangzeb.
