Nawazuddin Early Role for Rs 2500
Today, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one of Bollywood’s most respected actors with a high earning rate. However, in his early days, he was offered minimal amounts for roles. For Shool, Nawazuddin was paid just Rs 2500 to play a waiter, though his voice was dubbed in the film. Unfortunately, Shool did not give him the break he needed at the time, and his recognition in the industry came much later.
Sayaji Shinde’s Memorable Villain Role
One of the film’s biggest highlights was its villain, portrayed by Sayaji Shinde, who left a strong impact on audiences. His character was reportedly inspired by Mohammad Shahabuddin, a notorious political figure from Bihar, which added depth to his portrayal and made his role unforgettable.
Shilpa Shetty’s Iconic Song
Shool also features the famous song UP Bihar Lootne, which remains popular to this day. Shilpa Shetty’s dance in the song was a hit, adding an extra level of energy to the film. Interestingly, the dance wasn’t choreographed in the traditional sense—Shilpa improvised her moves under the guidance of Ahmed Khan, bringing her own flair to the performance.
