Prabhas has officially announced his new period action drama film, tentatively titled “Fauji.” The movie was launched on August 17th in a grand ceremony held in Hyderabad, with pictures from the event quickly going viral on social media. The film is expected to begin shooting in the last week of August. Additionally, Prabhas is also set to star in another film titled “The Raja Saab.”

Following the announcement of his highly anticipated movie Kalki 2898 AD, Prabhas has now revealed his next venture, a period action drama titled “Fauji.” The film, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, had its official launch with a special pooja ceremony in Hyderabad on August 17th. Fans are eagerly awaiting this new project, which is currently in the pre-production stage.

The shooting for “Fauji” is scheduled to start on August 24th in Hyderabad. While the female lead of the film has not been officially announced, rumors suggest that Mrunal Thakur might be cast opposite Prabhas. If this pairing materializes, it will mark the debut of a fresh on-screen duo, with Prabhas and Mrunal Thakur potentially sharing a romantic storyline. The movie is set during the pre-independence era, a period that has rarely been depicted in recent cinema.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, “Fauji” is expected to release by the end of 2025. The film’s music is being composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, who has reportedly completed three songs already.
